A TASTE OF CHILDHOOD 'PIZZA SCHMIZZA' A REVIEW
A Guest Post, By Writer Crystal J. Sincoff of Portland, Oregon.
A Taste Of Childhood
Portland has many pizza choices for those wanting to take in a slice of pizza and we were lucky to stumble upon Pizza Schmizza not to far from our house. The name itself reminds you of time when you ran barefoot in the grass teasing your siblings. We chose the Spaghetti and Meatball well, because whoever had spaghetti and meatballs on pizza?
This tasty treat had marinated meatballs on a blanket of spaghetti noodles. There was a smattering of marinara sauce topped with sprinkles of feta cheese. Sound good? It was delicious. My husband said it reminded him of when he was a kid. When his mom made spaghetti he used to wrap it in white bread and kinda make a spaghetti sandwich.
There was nothing plain about their cheese pizza. It is covered with a blend of mozzarella, jack, provolone, ramono, and parmesan cheeses. What was surprising about this slice was the melt. There was a slight crispness to the texture of the cheese that is hard to put into words and needs to be experienced. All I can say is awesome.
They have a 2 slice deal for $5 going on right now so stop in and “claim you slice” at Schmizza

Is Sixty Pizzas Enough?
"Looks like sixty did the trick but it was rather more expensive than I would of liked. Everyone was happy though which was the goal. The pizza was for the invigilating teachers. I ordered thirty pizzas for yesterday and another thirty pizzas for today. Not Pizza Schmizza but Pizza Italia, which is a local pizza place in Jiading. The owner is Paulo and he is, of course, Italian. He owns his own cheese factory and sausage factory. Nice guy but doesn't understand my American accent at all."---Martin J. Barela
